Indian among three foreign women shot dead in Afghanistan

Kabul, Aug 2 (IBNS) :  At least three foreign women, including an Indian, were shot dead shortly after they were kidnapped from Kabul city.

Local Khaama Press quoted the security sources as saying that the women were abducted from the vicinity of the 9th police district of the city.

The sources further added that the bodies of the women were recovered from Musahi district of Kabul.

According to the officials, the women hailed from India, Malaysia, and Macedonia.

Officials in the Criminal Investigation Department of Kabul also confirmed the kidnapping and murder of the three foreign women.

No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
