Massive fire breaks out at home in Oakville near Toronto

Toronto, Nov 13 (IBNS): A massive fire broke out at a house in Oakville near Toronto, early morning on Sunday.

The incident happened at around 1:40 a.m. at a home on Morrison Heights Drive, in the area of Morrison Road and Lakeshore Road East. 

Emergency firefighting crews arrived at the scene to counteract the blaze. 

The house was under construction and therefore nobody was inside the house when the fire started. However, nearby houses had to be evacuated as the fire was spreading around.

No injuries have been reported so far.

Halton Regional Police said the Fire Marshal has been notified about the overnight fire at Oakville home. 

Police also could not appropriately comment on the cause of the fire nor give an estimate of the real damage that the fire caused.
