Nawaz Sharif undergoing surgery in London

London, May 31 (IBNS): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is undergoing an open heart surgery at a hospital in London on Tuesday, his family members confirmed.

"By the Grace Of The Almighty, surgery progressing fine. Will take another couple of hours or so. Prayers doing miracles," the PM's daughter Maryam Nawaz Sharif ‏tweeted.

She said: "Grafting of vessels started an hour ago. Alhamdolillah progressing well."

She further gave an update on the condition of his father and tweeted: "All arteries successfully grafted Alhamdolillah. May take another 60 to 90 mins. Allah Kareem."
