Nepal adopts Constitution

Kathmandu, Sept 20 (IBNS): Creating new history, Nepal on Sunday adopted the new Constitution.

Country's President Ram Baran Yadav the commencement Nepal’s Constitution, 2072 which has 35 parts, 308 articles and nine schedules.

“We hope that the nation will head toward sustainable peace, political stability and social and economic development after promulgation of the new Constitution,” the President  was quoted as saying by The Himalayan Times.


Meanwhile, the move was made in the country amid protests by  minority Madhesi groups on a seven province federal structure.
