Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari to visit London for health checkup today

Abuja, May 8 (IBNS):  Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will arrive in London on Tuesday for a health checkup, officials said.

Buhari himself tweeted to inform his nation that he will travel to London for a health checkup on Tuesday.

The President tweeted: "I will be traveling to the United Kingdom tomorrow, to see my doctor, at his request. Will be away for four days; back in Abuja on Saturday, May 12."

The official Twitter page of the Nigerian Presidency also confirmed the matter and posted: "Pres @MBuhari will tomorrow, Tuesday undertake a four-day trip to the United Kingdom, to see how doctor. He will return Sat, May 12th. On his return, the President’s 2-day State Visit to Jigawa, postponed because of the APC Ward Congresses, will now take place 14th & 15th May."
