Lahore: Former Pakistan Prime Minister and PTI chief Imran Khan was on Friday booed with 'ghari chor' (watch thief) slogans near the civil courts here in Punjab.

In a video on social media, Khan is seen emerging from a gate at the Civil Courts surrounded by party workers and security personnel when a group of people there started shouting the slogan.

A PTI supporter accompanying Khan is seen shoving a man for chanting the slogans, Geo News reported.

Khan meanwhile granted a cheque worth Rs 50 million to the Lahore Bar Association and invited the lawyers to participate in his party's upcoming long march.

Also, he announced the provision of health cards to lawyers and promised to upgrade a hospital for them.

On October 21, the Election Commission disqualified Khan and ruled that the PTI chairman was no more a member of the National Assembly.

"Criminal proceedings will be initiated against the PTI chairman for misdeclaration," the verdict said.

The poll panel stated that Imran Khan submitted a false affidavit and was found involved in corrupt practices.
