Davos, Jan 26 (IBNS): Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said his nation will like to continue  their longstanding ties with both China and the United States.

“We have a long relationship with China and a long relationship with the US and we expect both to continue for a long time,” Abbasi was quoted as saying during a press conference in Davos where he is attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) by Geo News.

“Pakistan strengthened its relationship with China through CPEC, and we want good terms with the United States too,” he said

Relationship between Pakistan and the USA hit low point recently when the Donald Trump administration announced it was placing Pakistan in a 'Special Watch List'.

In another recent developments in the relationship between US and Pakistan, US President Donald Trump gave a strong message to Pakistan when he said his nation 'foolishly' gave more than 33 billion dollars in aid for the past 15 years but the south Asian nation only provided safe heavens to terrorists.

He said Pakistan only gave 'lies and deceit' to the US in return to the aid.
