Islamabad:  Employees of the Larkana Development Authority (LDA) are demonstrating and even pitched a tent  at the main gate of Jinnah Garden to protest against non-payment of salaries for the past 17 months.

Hanging dried bread in their necks, they urged Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to intervene in the matter and order for releasing their salaries, reports Dawn News.

Protesters Nazeer Chandio, Mumtaz Bukhari, Akhtar Sandelo and others told reporters as quoted by Dawn News that the LDA was the dream of Benazir Bhutto to develop the Larkana division.

They said the successive governments made the body non functional.
