Pakistan reports 37 fresh COVID-19 deaths

Islamabad: Pakistan reported 37 fresh COVID-19 deaths in the past 24 hours, taking the total death toll due to the highly infectious disease to 22848, media reports said on Tuesday.

Pakistan reported 2,145 cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, as per the statistics shared by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), Geo News reported.

The positivity ratio in the country now stands at  5.25 percent.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Pakistan since the pandemic began has risen to 993,872, while the number of active cases in the country has increased to 49,929, reports Geo News.
