Pakistan: Two cops martyred in Charsadda attack

Charsadda: At least two policemen were killed and one sustained injuries when terrorists attacked  the Dheri Zardad check-post here on Saturday, media reports said on Monday.

The militants opened fire on the check-post, leaving three cops wounded, reports The News International.

The injured people were rushed to  District Headquarters Hospital, Charsadda for treatment.

The deceased policemen were identified as  Imran and Munir.

District Police Officer Suhail Khalid told the newspaper the militants fled the scene when the cops returned the fire.
