Paris, Apr 21 (IBNS): At least one policeman was killed and two others injured in a 'terror attack' in central Paris, media reports said.

The attack has been claimed by the Islamic State.

Police said that the suspect has been killed.

The attack comes a few days ahead of Sunday's presidential election in France.

Meanwhile, the Islamic State through its mouthpiece Amaq news agency has identified the attacker as Abu-Yusuf al-Baljiki.

Following the attack, the whole of Champs-Elysees was evacuated and the area was cordoned off.
