President of India’s message on the eve of National Day of Ecuador

New Delhi, Aug 9 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Ecuador on the eve of their National Day (August 10, 2016).


In a message to the President of the Republic of Ecuador, Rafael Vicente Correa Delgado, the Indian President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you and to the friendly people of Ecuador on the occasion of your National Day.

India and Ecuador enjoy warm and friendly relations which have been strengthened through strong commercial ties and people-to-people contacts. I am confident that our cooperation will continue to expand and diversify in the years to come.

I avail this opportunity to convey, to Your Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and personal well being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of Ecuador.”
