Yakutsk (Russia), Mar 12 (Sputnik/UNI) Russia's Yakutsk Airport located in the Sakha Republic was evacuated early on Tuesday after an anonymous call warning of a bomb threat that has not been confirmed, a representative of the airport told Sputnik.

"At about six in the morning [21:00 GMT on Monday] the evacuation of passengers began in the airport in light of a call informing of a bomb planted in the building.

Four canine teams have worked at the site. The information has not been confirmed. At 8:50 a.m. the alert was canceled, [and] the airport's normal operation resumed," the representative said.

The evacuation resulted in the delay of several flights.

The incident came just a day after a plane belonging to Russia's Ural Airlines made an emergency landing in Baku because of the commander's suspicion about a bomb on board.
