Taiwan tracks 13 Chinese military aircraft, 14 ships: Reports

Of the 13 People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft, 11 crossed the Taiwan Strait median line in the southwestern portion of the nation’s air defence identification zone (ADIZ), according to the MND as quoted by Taiwan News.

In reply, Taiwan sent  aircraft and naval ships and deployed coastal-based missile systems to monitor the activities of PLA.

So far this month, Taiwan has tracked Chinese military aircraft 454 times and naval/coast guard vessels 268 times, reported Taiwan News.
