Pakistani authorities have arrested three suspected militants with alleged links to banned groups operating in Balochistan, according to media reports.

A joint team of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and an intelligence agency conducted a raid, detaining three individuals identified as Rehman, Miandad Baloch and Imran, Dawn News reported.

According to reports, arms were also recovered during the operation.

Officials said the suspects were involved in providing shelter to militants traveling from Balochistan to Karachi.

According to the report, the detained individuals are also accused of sharing content linked to militant organisations on social media, including material described by authorities as originating from “anti-Pakistan Indian channels.”
