Toronto police on the look out of a chubby man following stabbing

Toronto, Nov 11 (IBNS): Toronto police said, early morning on Friday, a man was stabbed in his abdomen and the suspect us described as a “chubby man wearing a poncho with his hear in a bun”.

The stabbing took place at around 2 a.m. inside an A&W restaurant, a fast food chain, located near the intersection of Yonge and Wellesley street, police confirmed. 

The victim although not in a life-threatening condition was transported to the hospital immediately. 

Although the timeline of the event was unclear, police say post attack the suspect kept lingering outside the restaurant, threatening others. 

The witnesses inside the restaurant told police that the suspect then smashed a glass window to re-enter the restaurant, before he fled from the scene. 

Police are now looking for the suspect who was describes as “white, chubby man with his hair in a bun, wearing a poncho.”
