Turkish Army neutralised more than 480 militants in Syria: Reports

Damascus/Ankara, Jan 28 (IBNS): The Turkish Army said on Sunday that it has neutralised more than 480 militants in Syria.

The local Anadolu news agency reported that the national army targeted militants from PYD/PKK and ISIS terrorist groups.

According to a statement by the Turkish General Staff, the Army killed at least 37 militants on Sunday.

Reports further suggested that seven jets were used for the operation.

The Turkish soldiers have termed the mission as Operation Olive Branch and said it is 'successfully continuing as planned'.
