One person aboard the Japan Coast Guard aircraft colliding with a Japan Airlines airplane at Tokyo's Haneda Airport was confirmed to have survived the incident on Tuesday, with the remaining five others currently unaccounted for, local media reported Tuesday. The coast guard plane was carrying relief goods for quake-hit areas in Niigata Prefecture after a series of temblors of up to 7.6 magnitude struck central Japan on Monday afternoon, public broadcaster NHK reported citing the Japan Coast Guard. Meanwhile, all 367 passengers and 12 crew members on board the Japan Airlines airplane that was in flames have evacuated, NHK reported.
