Mumbai, Sept 24 (IBNS): As an anticipation grew about the character of Aamir Khan in upcoming Hindi film Thugs of Hindostan, production and distribution company Yash Raj Films finally revealed the actor's role in the movie on Monday.

Releasing the first look, Yash Raj said Aamir will play the role of Firangi.

In the first look, Aamir could be seen sporting a brown hair. As Firangi, the 53-year old actor travels on a donkey and going by his entire look, he seems to be an extremely wily character.

Apart from Aamir, the film stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Katrina and Fatima took to Instagram to comment about their co-actor Aamir's first look.

Katrina said: "This Diwali, beware of this Thug"

In a similar caption, Fatima said: "Iss Thug se Bach Kar dikhao"

The makers have already revealed the respective characters of Bachchan, Katrina and Fatima in Thugs of Hindostan.

Bachchan's character has been named as Khudabaksh while Fatima has been sketched as Zafira.

In the first look, Katrina, who is Suraiyya in the film, could be seen in a sizzling avatar.

On Thursday, the makers released the first look of the film's villain.

British actor Lloyd Owen will be seen portraying cruel, evil, highly manipulative and merciless villain of Thugs of Hindostan, Lord John Clive, who was the commander of the East India Company.

Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial Thugs of Hindostan is set to release on Nov 8, on the occasion of festival Diwali.
