Mumbai, Oct 23 (IBNS): Directed by the debutante Gauravv K. Chawla, the upcoming film Baazaar has already become a popular affair amongst all of us for its select star-cast and intimidating narrative.
The film also marks the debut for the newcomer Rohan Mehra, son of Late Vinod Mehra who’ll be seen rubbing shoulders alongside the Nawab of the industry- Saif Ali Khan.
The duo’s camaraderie in the trailer has already set our hopes high on the film and much to our surprise their off-screen story isn’t any different.
Interestingly the two actors bonded over random things over the sets of the film.
They were often found playing guitar and jived over music throughout the schedule. The chemistry so built that they ended up rehearsing their scripts together and Saif would make sure if Rohan was comfortable on the set.
It was no less a thrill to work with the Nawab of the Hindi cinema and the debutant actor takes quite a pride in the same.
He went on elaborating his experience of working with Saif Ali Khan and here’s what he has to say.
“It has been an incredible experience. He is the funniest guy I have ever met. We shared so many jokes, which have tickled the funny bone and how. In fact, there was a time when the director had to separate us. I think we bonded so well, maybe because our upbringing is similar. I am grateful to him for not treating me like a complete newcomer and for making me feel comfortable,” he said.
Baazaar has a plot of money and power set against the backdrop of the stock market.
It stars Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Chitrangda Singh and Rohan Mehra playing characters like never before.
The film is scheduled to release on Oct 26.
