Guwahati, Oct 30 (IBNS): Popular singer Shaan has denied reports that stones were thrown at him while he was performing in a concert in Assam recently.

Shaan made the remarks amid media reports which claimed that stones and paper balls were thrown at him after he sang a Bengali song at the concert.

Reacting to the development, Shaan tweeted: "Complete lies!!! One Paper ticket folded up was thrown on stage by One Person after vigorously gestering and shouting to stop singing.. That’s all ... please stop these wild speculations and lies ."

When another netizen apologised him for the episode, Shaan once again posted: "Just for the records ...loved my Assam Tour!! Saw the most fascinating sights...made new friends..had huge turnouts at every concert.. Over one unfortunate incident it would be VeryWrong to Tarnish this Beautifull State!!! Whatever happened was in the heat of the moment."

Shaan is one of the most popular names in the world of Bollywood.

He has sung several popular Bollywood songs.
