Bollywood singer MIka Singh released from UAE jail

Dubai, Dec 7 (IBNS):  Popular Indian Singer Mika Singh, who was arrested after a teenaged Brazilian model allegedly lodged a complaint about him for sending inappropriate pictures, has been released, media reports said.

Indian pop singer Mika Singh was released on Thursday night following the intervention of the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Navdeep Singh Suri, the Indian Ambassador to the UAE, told Gulf News. 

He is expected to appear in a court later.

The envoy told the newspaper that although Singh was arrested in Dubai, the police took him to Abu Dhabi as the complainant was holding an Abu Dhabi residence visa. 

The Indian singer was arrested for allegedly harassing a Brazilian teenage model.

He was accused of sending indecsent picture to the model.
