Karan Johar describes Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy as his 'favourite film this decade'

Mumbai, Feb 19 (IBNS): In yet another positive comment for the movie, filmmaker Karan Johar on Tuesday called Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy as his 'favourite film this decade'.

Karan even called director of the movie Zoya as her favourite filmmaker.

"I wish twitter had more than 280 characters for all the brilliant characters of #gullyboy so had to take to Instagram to share my thoughts on this incredible film and my favourite film this decade! Zoya Akhtar is my favourite filmmaker!," Karan tweeted.

Gully Boy released on Feb 14.

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt worked for the first time together in the film.

The movie is one major releases of the year.

The movie has been going steady at the Box Office so far.

The movie earned Rs. 81 crore at the Box Office till Monday.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#GullyBoy shows a solid hold on Mon [Day 5]... Expectedly, metros are driving the biz... Should hit ₹ cr on Thu [Day 8]... Mumbai circuit is the front runner [terrific]... Thu 19.40 cr, Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 18.65 cr, Sun 21.30 cr, Mon 8.65 cr. Total: ₹ 81.10 cr. India biz."
