Kriti Sanon, Kartik's Luka Chuppi continues strong run at BO

Mumbai, Mar 3 (IBNS): Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan's Luka Chuppi continued to deliver strong performance at the Box Office on Saturday as the movie earned Rs. 18 crores in the two days since releasing on Friday.

The rom-com made better business on Saturday than its opening day and touched Rs. 10 crore mark.

"#LukaChuppi zooms upwards on Day 2... Another strong day [Day 3] will place it in a comfortable position due to the controlled costs... Will cross *opening weekend* biz of #SKTKS [₹ 26.57 cr] and #PKP2 [₹ 22.75 cr]... Fri 8.01 cr, Sat 10.08 cr. Total: ₹ 18.09 cr. India biz," film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The movie had created a buzz since its trailer was released recently.

Luka Chuppi has been directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan.

The movie saw Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aaryan pairing up for the first time.

Aaryan caught the limelight with his impressive screen presence in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Sanon, who began her career with Heropanti in 2014, impressed fans with her cheerful acting as Bitti Mishra in Bareilly Ki Barfi, starring opposite actor Rajkummar Rao.

The 28-year old actress also sizzled audience with her special appearance in a song in 2018 film Stree.
