Mumbai, Mar 29 (IBNS): Hindi film Notebook, which has been co-produced by superstar Salman Khan, released on Friday.

The film has been directed by Nitin Kakkar.

Notebook, which stars debutants Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl, presents a love story of two individuals who fall in love without ever meeting each other.

Speaking about the film recently, Kakkar said: "We have put our heart and soul into making this film. It feels enriching when your efforts are appreciated and loved. Zaheer, Pranutan and the kids have lived the characters through the film and felt the emotions thoroughly for their first ever on-screen appearance.

As the story touches one’s heart with its unconventional narrative, we hope the film strikes a chord with the audience as well.”
