Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani starrer Kabir Singh goes strong at box office

Mumbai, June 24 (IBNS): Actors Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer Hindi film Kabir Singh is continuing its dream run at the Indian box office.

The film, which released last Friday, has collected Rs. 70.83 crore so far.

Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#KabirSingh is firing on all cylinders at the BO... Metros, mass belt, Tier-2, Tier-3 cities - #KabirSingh wave grips the nation... Emerges Shahid Kapoor’s highest grosser in 3 days [after #Padmaavat]... Fri 20.21 cr, Sat 22.71 cr, Sun 27.91 cr. Total: ₹ 70.83 cr. India biz."

Kabir Singh is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar, Ashwin Varde, T-series and  Cine1Studios. It is a remake by Sandeep Vanga of his own Telegu film Arjun Reddy.

Earlier, Kapoor and Advani were seen featuring in music video Urvashi. 

Advani made her Bollywood debut with Fugly in 2014 but caught the limelight in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story couple of years later. Recently, the 26-year old actress raised the temperature with her item song in Kalank, dancing with actor Varun Dhawan.
