New Delhi, July 17 (IBNS): Actors Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah got married in the presence of only family members in the national capital earlier this month. Nawab said the couple didn't think about it too much despite dating for only five months because they believed there were "in that space".

In an interview with The Times of India days after their July 4 wedding, Nawab said: "It was as if we were destined to be together."

"Pooja entered my life like sunshine and I was sure that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. In fact, I wanted to marry her right after our first meeting," the Tiger Zinda Hai actor said.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Pooja said her family and friends had been asking why they weren't getting married.

"I was simply going with the flow, but then I realised that he is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with, and there is no point in delaying it any further. So, here we are. We had an Arya Samaj wedding," she said.

She put up several pictures of the wedding on her Instagram.

While Nawab has acted in memorable films such as Don 2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Tiger Zinda Hai, Pooja has been seen in Haseena Maan Jayegi and ABCD 2.
