Sunny Leone apologises to Delhi man whose number she accidentally shared in a movie
Mumbai, Aug 2 (IBNS): Actress Sunny Leone, who shared the phone number of a Delhi man accidentally in her recently released movie as a part of the script, has apologised to the person after he received innumerable calls and troubles due to it.
Speaking to Zoom TV, Sunny said: "Sorry I didn't mean for that to happen to you. Must get some really interesting people calling."
A Delhi man Puneet was facing troubles after his phone number was allegedly shared by actress Sunny Leone onscreen with another character in the movie Arjun Patiala.
The movie hit theatres on last Friday and since then Puneet has been receiving hundreds of calls every day.
Puneet, 27, has been getting 100 to 150 calls from random people every day. From obscene talk and people asking for video calls to verbal abuses, Puneet has been subjected to all sorts of strange requests because people think it is Sunny Leone's phone number, reported India Today earlier.
According to the news magazine's report, the origin of the misunderstanding lies in a scene in Arjun Patiala, where Sunny Leone gives her phone number to lead actor Diljit Dosanjh. But while most such scenes use a phone number not in use or one that is used for promotions, this one led to a working phone number.
Puneet is reportedly planning to take the makers of Arjun Patiala to court.
Sunny Leone appeared in an item number in the movie.
The movie featured actress Kriti Sanon in the lead role.
