Karan Johar's Kuch Kuch Hota Hai completes 21 years, he thanks everyone for making it 'timeless'

Mumbai: Filmmaker Karan Johar became nostalgic on Wednesday as his first directorial venture Kuch Kuch Hota Hai turned 21.

He thanked the entire team of the film for making it a 'timeless'.

" Firsts are always special! The cast, crew, music & the heart & soul of this film was all in the right place Thank you for making this journey a timeless one even after 21yrs! #21YearsOfClassicKKHH @iamsrk @itsKajolD #RaniMukerji @BeingSalmanKhan @apoorvamehta18 @DharmaMovies ," Johar tweeted.

Released in 1998, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is considered as a major hit in the careers of leading actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherji.

It was written and directed by Karan Johar, and starred the popular on-screen pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in their fourth film together.

Rani Mukerji featured in a supporting role, while Salman Khan also had an extended-cameo appearance.
