Alia Bhatt starrer 'Sadak 2' to release on OTT platform
Mumbai/IBNS: In line with the recent trend in Bollywood, Alia Bhatt starrer 'Sadak 2: The Road To Love' will also release on an 'Over-the-top' or popularly known as OTT platform.
Sadak 2, a sequel to Mahesh Bhatt's 1991 hit Sadak, was meant to release in theatres on July 10.
However owing to the coronavirus pandemic, several big banner films are opting for digital release and Sadak 2 is no exception.
The film will release on Disney+Hotstar platform, Sanjay Dutt who features in the sequel as well confirmed in a tweet on Monday.

Mahesh Bhatt's ambitious project features Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Pooja Bhat in leading roles.
The film marks the return of Mahesh Bhatt as director after a long hiatus and is produced by Mukesh Bhatt under their banner Vishesh Films.
The 1991 blockbuster had Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhat as lead actors.
Earlier Gulabo Sitabo, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana, released on Amazon Prime.
Following the suit, several films planned for theatrical releases in 2020, are lined up for digital exhibition.
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's last movie Dil Bechara, Vidya Balan's Shakuntala Devi biopic, Janhvi Kapoor's Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl are some of the films to be released on OTT platforms soon.
