Chehre: Makers postpone release of movie amid rising COVID19 cases
Mumbai: Makers of upcoming Bollywood movie Chehre have pushed the release of the film amid rising COVID-19 cases in the country.
It was scheduled to hit the silverscreen on Apr 9.
“Due to the rising case of Covid-19 and new guidelines for cinemas, we are unable to release our movie Chehre on 9th April and decided to postpone until further notice,” read a statement issued by the makers.
“We have received an overwhelming response on our trailer and we are grateful for all the love and support,” the makers said.

Chehre is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language mystery thriller film directed by Rumi Jafry with production by Anand Pandit Motion Pictures and Saraswati Entertainment Private Limited starring Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi as leads.
The film featuring Krystle D'Souza, Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Annu Kapoor, Dhritiman Chatterjee and Raghubir Yadav in other pivotal roles sees Bachchan playing a lawyer, while Hashmi a business tycoon.
