Taapsee Pannu's Looop Lapeta to stream on Netflix

Mumbai/UNI: Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu has dropped the teaser of her forthcoming on Looop Lapeta, official Hindi adaptation of German movie Run Lola Run, and confirmed the OTT release of the film on Netflix.

Sharing a psychedelic teaser, Taapsee Pannu on Monday captioned her post, "Time is ticking, and it is time to run! Can't wait for all of you to see the film! #LooopLapeta, A Sony Pictures Films India Feature and Ellipsis Entertainment Production, directed by Aakash Bhatia, coming soon, only on Netflix."

Looop Lapeta is directed by Aakash Bhatia and jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Ellipsis Entertainment and Aayush Maheshwari. The film features Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in lead roles.

The versatile actor will step into the shoes of German actress Franka Potente in the lead role. Tahir Raj Bhasin will be seen as her boyfriend, originally played by Moritz Bleibtreu in the German film, which released in 1998. The film also stars Shreya Dhanwanthary as Julia.

The film is about a woman who needs to obtain 100,000 Deutsche Mark in 20 minutes to save her boyfriend’s life.

Meanwhile on the work front, Taapsee is also busy with Dobaaraa, Anurag Kashyap's thriller produced by Ekta Kapoor's Cult Movies. She will also essay the role of cricketer Mithali Raj in Shabaash Mithu.

She is also busy wrapping her debut production Blurr.
