Jacqueline Fernandez appeals on social media for privacy after pics with conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar go viral
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez issued a statement on Saturday, urging the media and her fans to not share a picture of her's with alleged conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, which has been making rounds on social media.
The actress took to Instagram to post a lengthy note asking her media friends to not circulate mages of intrusive nature that invade her privacy at a difficult time, which she described as "a rough patch."
"It is with this trust that I would request my media friends to not circulate images of a nature that intrude my privacy and personal space. You would not do this to your own loved ones, am sure you would not do this to me either. Hoping that justice and good sense prevails. Thank you," it continued.
The actress disabled the comments section of the Instagram post.
Her post comes in the light of an Enforcement Directorate probe against Chandrashekhar's Rs 200 crore money laundering case. In its charge sheet, the central agency mentioned Jacqeline's connection with the conman.
She was summoned by the ED for questioning and so far, has recorded her statement thrice in front of the ED.
Earlier on Saturday, a new photo of the actor with Chandrashekhar went viral. In it, she was seen getting a kiss from Chandrasekhar and had an evident hickey, said an NDTV report.
