Koffee with Karan no more, announces Karan Johar

Mumbai/IBNS: "With a heavy heart", filmmaker Karan Johar has announced his popular chat show Koffee with Karan will not be returning to the television screens with a new season.

Amid reports claiming the show will return to television for its seventh season, Johar tweeted Wednesday, "Koffee with Karan has been a part of my life, and yours, for 6 seasons now.

"I'd like to think we've made an impact and even found our place in pop culture history. And so, it is with a heavy heart that I announce that Koffee with Karan will not be returning..."

From Amitabh Bachchan to Shah Rukh Khan to Deepika Padukone to Ananya Panday, Koffee with Karan's couch was adorned with various celebrities, who speak their heart out in a candid conversation with Johar.

In the course of the conversation, the celebrities also used to play games to win gifts from the celebrated filmmaker.
