Actor Emraan Hashmi said working on the songs sung by late singer KK was 'special'.

"A voice and talent like no other.. They don't make them like him anymore. Working on the songs he sang was always that much more special. You will always be in our hearts KK and live eternally through your songs. RIP Legend KK," he wrote on Instagram.

The singer had delivered some of the popular songs of Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi like ‘Beete Lamhein’, ‘Zara Si’, ‘Tu Hi Meri Shab Hai’, among others.

Krishnakumar Kunnath, who is popularly known as KK, died in Kolkata Tuesday evening after delivering a performance at the city's Nazrul Mancha. He was 53.

One of the most versatile singers of this generation, KK has recorded songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese and Gujarati languages films.

He arrived in Kolkata on Monday for back-to-back performances in the city.
