Mumbai: Bollywood’s ‘Badshah’ Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday hoisted the national flag at his residence ‘Mannat’ here and said it is necessary to teach young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of the freedom fighters.

The megastar hoisted the Tricolour, as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, a clarion call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to commemorate 75 years of Independence.

SRK took to his social media handle and shared a video, wherein we can see his wife Gauri Khan and both their sons Aryan and Abram.

Dressed in white, the ‘Swades’ actor wrote, “Teaching the young ones at home the essence and sacrifice of our Freedom Fighters for our country India, will still take a few more sittings. But getting the flag hoisted by the little one made us all FEEL the pride, love and happiness instantly.”
