I am grateful for all the love and support I have received from my fans, says SOTY actor Siddharth Malhotra as he completes 10 years in Bollywood

Mumbai: Actor Siddharth Malhotra recently completed 10 years in Bollywood since making his debut in the industry with Student Of The Year in 2012.

Speaking on completing 10 years, he wrote on Instagram: "My journey in Hindi cinema has completed a decade today. I am grateful for all the love and support I have received from my fans who’ve been rooting for me throughout the years."

"From #SOTY to #ThankGod, it’s been a joyful ride. Thank you @karanjohar for giving me an opportunity to show my talent and most importantly for believing in me. Big hug to my first co-stars @varundvn & @aliaabhatt Big love and respect to all," he said.

Student Of The Year marked the Bollywood debuts of Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan.

The second installment of the film was released in 2019 and it featured Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria.

Malhotra went on to star in such commercially successful films as Hasee Toh Phasee (2014), Ek Villain (2014), and Kapoor & Sons (2016). Following a career downturn, he gained praise for starring as Vikram Batra in the war film Shershaah (2021).

He will soon be seen in  Thank God.
