Ananya Panday dresses up perfectly like 'Poo', Kareena Kapoor Khan appreciates
Mumbai: Birthday girl Ananya Panday took inspiration from the character Poo, which was played by actor Kareena Kapoor Khan in her 2001 released movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, as she dressed up on her special day.
Ananya, who has worked in several Bollywood movies in recent times, turned 24 on Sunday.
Dressing up for her birthday and to attend a Halloween event, Ananya recreated a scene from the Karan Johar directed movie which introduced Poo.
Sharing the video on Instagram, she was also seen mouthing dialogues from the film.
She wrote: "It’s my birthday today and it’s Halloween tomorrow so obviously I had to dress as my alll time favourite POO! Obviously not even a patch on @kareenakapoorkhan I’m just a fan having a gala time don’t shout at me @karanjohar @spacemuffin27 @stacygomes @kajal._komal killed it."
Ananya's Poo act earned appreciation from several Bollywood personalities, including Kareena herself.
Sharing the photo of Ananya on her Instagram story, Kareena wrote: "You looked PHAT. Happy birthday you star, lots of love! (sic)."
Shah Rukh Khan' daughter Suhana wrote in the comment section: "love it."
Her mother Bhavana Pandey said: "Hahahahaha you are crazyyyyyy when did you do all this ???"
Actress Esha Gupta wrote: "CUTIEEE."
Daughter of actor Chunky Pandey, Ananya began her acting career in 2019 with roles in the teen film Student of the Year 2 and the comedy Pati Patni Aur Woh.
Her performance in Gehraiyaan also earned praises.
