Mumbai/IBNS: A day after Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their baby daughter, dairy brand Amul congratulated the new parents with an adorable post.

The topical featured a cartooned version of the celeb couple with a baby in their hands. "Alia Bhetti," read the text on the Amul topical.

Sharing the post, the brand wrote in its caption: "Amul Topical: Star couple welcome a baby daughter."

Alia and Ranbir announced the arrival of the baby girl in an Instagram entry Sunday.

She captioned the post saying: "And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here...and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed Parents! Love, love, love Alia and Ranbir."

Alia and Ranbir, who shared screen space for the first time in the massively popular Hindi film Brahmastra earlier this year, got married in Apr 2022.

The two announced their pregnancy in June this year.

Even during her pregnancy stage, Alia kept herself busy with her work and toured various cities to promote Brahmastra.
