India's most loved 'Sita' Dipika Chikhlia recently shared an interesting video where she could be seen dressed like the mythological Hindu goddess.

Dipika rose to prominence by playing the role of Sita in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan in 1987.

The actors, who were part of the 1987 hit TV show, are still loved and respected by Indian fans.

Interestingly, Dipika shared the video at a time when a movie titled Adipurush, based on Ramayana, is running across theatres.

However, the movie has drawn negative feedback from the audience so far.

Dipika wrote in the caption of her video, " This post is on public demand … I am grateful for the love I have always received for the role i played … Me … as sitaji …could not have asked for more."

Sachet Tandon, music director of Adipurush replied in the comment section with a folded hand emoji.

Interestingly, in Dipika's video, the song Ram Siya Ram from Adipurush could be heard playing in the backdrop.

Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon portrayed the role of Sita in the movie.
