Deepika Padukone on her chemistry with Shah Rukh Khan: 'I am one of the few people he is vulnerable with'
Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone's extended cameo in Shah Rukh Khan starrer massively hit film 'Jawan' is one of the highlights from the action film which has a socio-political message.
'Jawan', which is directed by Atlee Kumar, is Deepika's fifth collaboration with Shah Rukh, who gave her first break in Bollywood way back in 2007 with 'Om Shanti Om'.

Speaking on her chemistry with Shah Rukh, Deepika told The Week, "We are each other's lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other."
"I am one of the few people he is vulnerable with. There is so much trust and respect, and I think that luck is just the cherry on the top," she added.

Prior to 'Jawan', Shah Rukh-Deepika starrer 'Pathaan' stormed into the box office in January 2023.
'Pathaan', which was the comeback film of SRK, portrayed Deepika in her sizzling avatar besides her action sequences.

Speaking on 'Pathaan', the actress said, "I’ve never been fascinated by numbers whether it was Maths in school or the numbers of Pathaan. I was just happy that cinemas had come alive again, that people had come alive again. I was really grateful for that."
After her first break in 2007, Deepika collaborated with Shah Rukh in 'Chennai Express' and 'Happy New Year', which have reasonably succeeded in the box office.

'Jawan', which stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead with Sanjay Dutt in a special appearance, hit the theatres on September 7.
