Is Kriti Sanon single? Actress gives update about her relationship status
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon, who was earlier rumoured to be dating actor Prabhas, has provided an update about her relationship status.
Kriti, who is one of the busiest actors in tinseltown at present, said she was single.
Responding to a question at the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2023, Kriti said, "Let me just first say that I am single. Let's make that clear. I have been single for a while in fact."
When asked about the qualities she would look out for in her partner, the actress, who has recently won the National Award, said, "As far as what kind of a partner I want, I think I am a die-hard romantic. I want to be in love. I want someone who has a lot of love, and honesty. I do get attracted to people. are ambitious, driven and inspire me someway.
"I always need that inspiration in a partner. And yes, hopefully taller than me that kind of disqualifies a lot of people. But, hopefully, that. But in the end, you want a good human being who has a good heart, just a lot of love, just real and honest."
How was Kriti Sanon linked to Prabhas?
The rumour kickstarted after Kriti's 'Bhediya' co-star Varun Dhawan said at a reality show, "Kriti's name is not here because her name is in someone's heart. That man is not in Mumbai because right now he is shooting with Deepika Padukone."
Fans had started guessing Kriti having a romantic relationship with her 'Adipurush' co-actor Prabhas.
Rubbishing the rumours, Kriti has put up a statement on Instagram which says, "It's neither Pyaar, nor PR. Our Bhediya just went a little too wild on a reality show. And his fun banter lead to some Howl-arious rumours.
"Before some portal announces my wedding date-let me burst your bubble. The rumours are absolutely baseless."
Kriti Sanon's busy work front
Kriti has won the National Award in the Best Actress category this year for her role in 'Mimi', a 2021 film where she played a surrogate mother.
After 'Mimi', she featured in 'Hum Do Hamare Do', 'Bachchhan Pandey', 'Heropanti 2', 'Bhediya', 'Shehzada' and 'Adipurush'.
Kriti will next feature alongside her debut co-actor Tiger Shroff in 'Ganapath', which will be followed by 'The Crew', 'Do Patti' and an untitled film.
