Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood's power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh will be the first guests in the eighth season of chat show 'Koffee With Karan', which is hosted by popular filmmaker Karan Johar.

The first episode, which will be streaming from October 26, has captured the chemistry of Deepika and Ranveer, who are one of the leading contemporary stars of the Hindi film industry.

In the teaser of the inaugural episode, Ranveer was heard revealing that he had proposed to Deepika in 2015.

Deepika, who has shared screen space with Ranveer in a number of films, talked about an "amazing (onscreen) chemistry" with Hrithik Roshan with whom she will appear in 2024 release 'Fighter'.
