Alia Bhatt's Ramayan-themed saree for Ram Temple appearance took 100 hours for completion
Mumbai/Ayodhya/IBNS: Alia Bhatt was one of the top Bollywood stars who attended the grand inauguration of Ram Temple in Uttar Pradesh's Ayodhya, which turned out to be the destination for thousands of people including the jetsetting Bollywood royalty on Monday.
During the day, Alia and her actor husband Ranbir Kapoor and other B-Town power couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were also spotted riding the same electric car to reach the temple, where the Prime Minister unveiled the Ram Lalla idol amid chants of Jai Shri Ram and a sea of saffron colour.

While Ranbir went for a dhoti, kurta and a shawl, Alia's blue Mysore silk saree has caught the public glare since her presence in the temple, which has been opened for common people from Tuesday.
In tune with the occasion, Alia wore a Ramayan-themed saree, which has been credited to designer label Madhurya Creations.
In a long Instagram post, celebrity fashion stylist Ami Patel revealed that the turquoise blue Mysore silk saree, which had the miniature paintings in a traditional Pattachitra, took 100 hours to get completed.
The saree, as Patel revealed, "had important scenes from the Ramayana intricately hand painted on the Pallu".
She says, "The breaking of the Shiva Dhanush, King Dasharathas promise, in the boat with Guha, the golden deer, the kidnapping, the Ram Setu, Lord Hanuman presenting the ring to Ma Sita and the Rama Pattabishek."
Among other celebrities who graced the mega event were Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Kangana Ranaut, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rohit Shetty and southern superstar Rajinikanth.
