Animal team wishes Bhaabi 2 Triptii Dimri on her birthday

Actress Triptii Dimri, who became the country's latest crush last year since the release of her movie Animal, turned 30 on Friday (February 24, 2024) and it was one wish on X which gained the attention of fans who fondly called her 'Bhaabi 2'.

Triptii Dimri played the character named Zoya in the 2023 blockbuster movie which featured Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.

In a quirky post, Animal Team posted on its official X page wishing the actress: "Happy Birthday Bhabhi 2 @tripti_dimri23."

Why the actress was addressed as Bhaabi 2?

In the storyline of Animal, Ranbir is shown as married to Rashmika Mandanna.

Triptii Dimri played Ranbir's love interest, making other characters in the movie call her 'Bhaabi2' (sister-in-law).

The term became popular and even Triptii fans started addressing her by that name on social media posts related to her.

Tritii and Kapoor's bold scenes from Animal also became talk of the town post the release of the movie.

Apart from Ranbir and Triptii, the movie also featured Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in the lead roles.

The movie was released on December 1.

Who is Triptii Dimri?

She made her acting debut in the comedy film Poster Boys (2017) and had her first lead role in the romantic drama Laila Majnu (2018).

She gained critical recognition for her performances in Anvita Dutt's period films Bulbbul (2020) and Qala (2022).
