Asin and Smriti Irani bond on film set

India Blooms News Service | | 28 May 2014, 07:59 pm
Mumbai, May 28 (IBNS) Asin is known to maintain good friendships with many of her colleagues in the industry. The most recent one to discover a sweet friendship with the actress was BJP leader, union minister and television actress Smriti Irani.
They seem to get along like a house on fire on the sets of Umesh Shukla's All is Well.

Smriti, who was the latest addition to the film's starcast, was made to feel at home thanks to Asin's warmheartedness  and the two have grown close through the course of the shoot.

Smriti Irani plays Asin's mother in the film and seems to have developed a genuine fondness for her onscreen daughter. Both the ladies are known to be intelligent, well spoken and having a clear view and opinion on current affairs.

They in fact have been seen bonding over lunch and long conversations between breaks during shooting. While they were shooting in Mumbai Smriti used to get Parsi food from her home cooked specially for Asin for lunch.

Now recently when they were shooting in Shimla, Smriti Irani who was a candidate contesting against none other than Rahul Gandhi in Amethi had to drive down to Delhi on the Election results day. When she returned to resume shoot for the film the next day, she brought back a whole big box of boondi ladoos specially from Delhi as she knew that they were Asin's favourite. Sweet bonding must say!
