Manisha posted a long post on her Heeramandi experience on Instagram on Sunday and Preity was quick in appreciating her in the comment section.

"I love you Manisha ❤️🔥❤️🔥 I saw the show for you & you killed it 👏👏You are such a powerhouse of talent & an even better human being," she said.

Preity recalled her Dil Se days and wrote on Instagram: "I will never forget how lovely, welcoming & generous you were to me in Dil Se 😍Thanks to you I started my film journey on such a positive note. You never made me feel I was working with a superstar & nurtured me on the shoot - always smiling, accommodating & ready for rehearsal & suggestions."

Preity commenced her Bollywood journey with Manisha and Shah Rukh Khan's Dil Se.

The movie, which released in 1998, was directed by Mani Ratnam.
