London/IBNS: Actor Manisha Koirala recently met with UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at 10 Downing Street in London where she was representing her country, Nepal, as it celebrated 100 years of its ‘friendship treaty’ with the UK.

The actor has now shared the images from the meeting.

Manisha was seen donning a traditional saree as she met the UK PM and shared how thrilled she was to learn that most attendees of the event had watched her web series 'Heeramandi'.

She captioned the images writing: "t was an honor to be invited to 10 Downing Street to celebrate United Kingdom - Nepal relations and 100 years of our friendship treaty. It was such a pleasure to hear the Prime Minister @rishisunakmp speak fondly of our country #nepal🇳🇵. I took the liberty of inviting the P.M. and his family to come trek to Everest Base Camp. Can you believe that most of the attendees had seen #heeramandionnetflix and loved it ? I was thrilled!!

On the acting front, Manisha is currently basking in the success of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web series Heeramandi where her role as Mallika Jaan has been highly lauded and well received by the audiences.
