Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2 to clash with Khel Khel Mein and Vedaa in box office

Mumbai/IBNS: Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Hindi film Stree 2 is set to release on August 15 on the occasion of Independence Day.

The film is directed by Amar Kaushik.

Stree, the first installment which hit the big screens in 2018, had earned appreciation. Even its tracks- Milegi Milegi and Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe- had gained attractions.

Stree 2, a highly anticipated film, is set to lock horns with two other Bollywood films in the box office.


It is set to clash with Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein and Nikhil Advani directorial Vedaa starring John Abraham in the lead.

Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule, a sequel to Pushpa: The Rise, is also slated to release on the same day.

However, some media reports claim the release of Pushpa 2 may be postponed but no official confirmation has arrived yet.

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty's Singham Again, starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone in the lead, has got its release date postponed.

The action film will arrive in cinemas in Diwali 2024.
