Hina Khan diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer

Mumbai/IBNS: Popular television actress Hina Khan on Friday revealed she has been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer.

The actress took to Instagram to share a post where she writes "To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with Stage Three Breast Cancer."

Hina has said she is doing fine. 

"I am strong, determined, and fully committed to overcoming the disease," she said, asking for "respect" and "privacy" at this time.

Hina, who became popular for playing Akshara in daily soap 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', has been a part of a number of projects on television including 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi'.

Her last film 'Country of Blind', which was released in the US on October 6, has garnered rave reviews.

In the Hindi-English bilingual film, Hina plays a visually impaired woman.
